A High-Octane Symphony of Destruction
When Twisted Metal arrived in 1995, it defined a genre. Its blend of grinding metal and high-octane car combat became a PlayStation icon, a series that would go on to be refined by sequels like Black and Head-On, all while maintaining its unique brand of nu-metal-infused chaos.
Music was always the fuel that powered the Twisted Metal machine. The roaring guitars and thumping drums provided the perfect backdrop for the racing, the wrecking, and the vehicular mayhem. In honor of this defiant and powerful soundtrack, iam8bit has partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment America to bring you a release in our favorite format: vinyl.
The Twisted Metal Symphony 2xLP is a thunderous trip through the series' history, featuring tracks from Twisted Metal (1995), Twisted Metal 2, Twisted Metal: Black, Twisted Metal: Head-On, and Twisted Metal (2012). It’s an anthology of the series’ most iconic songs, including "Rooftop Battle," "Fire Walk," and "Deathwish."
The two discs are pressed on Twisted Pink & Green vinyl, looking as sharp as they sound on your turntable. The album artwork was created by Paul Rentler, who has crafted a striking and cohesive look that perfectly captures the madness of Sweet Tooth and the gang.
