【iam8bit Exclusive Color】It Takes Two (Original Game Soundtrack) 2xLP (iam8bit Cody & May Edition)

A wise duo once said it takes two to make a thing go right. The team at Hazelight Studios must have taken that sentiment to heart; their rich library of co-op games marry nuanced and complex narrative experiences with approachable, engaging gameplay.

It Takes Two is a prime example of that perfect pairing, captivating core gamers and new fans of the hobby alike. It’s no wonder the game garnered all sorts of award season attention, including the coveted Game of the Year title from The Game Awards.

Now, iam8bit is proud to team up with Hazelight Studios to give It Takes Two’s stellar soundtrack the golden treatment it deserves. This is the It Takes Two (Original Game Soundtrack) 2xLP (iam8bit Cody & May Edition)! It’s the very best of the It Takes Two score, spread across 2 vinyl discs featuring a specially made splatter treatment we’ve dubbed Cody & May Vinyl.

Just like the game itself, the soundtrack plays in some very unexpected spaces; the super-catchy main theme is here, of course, and so is the sci-fi-tinged “Spaced Out,” the whimsical “Hopscotch,” and the perilously funky “Deadly Disco.”

For the album art, the talented Naomi VanDoren captured the spirit of whimsy and cooperation that made It Takes Two an instant classic. It all comes together in a package you’ll surely want to share with someone special.
