Lies of P: Overture turns back the clock on Neowiz’s excellent Soulslike, dropping players into the city of Krat before the brink of disaster. In doing so, the prequel DLC expands the base game’s setting and aesthetics, imagining a beautiful but haunting Belle Époque city teetering on the edge of ruin.

Similarly, the music of Overture explores a soundscape that, compared to its predecessor, is less lonely, more lively, but still ultimately baleful and evocative. As you guide Geppetto’s Puppet through unique spaces like a zoo and a carnival, you hear music from ROUND8 Studio unlike anything found in the base game. iam8bit is pleased to collaborate with Neowiz to bring you this new chapter for Lies of P on vinyl.

This is the Lies of P: Overture 3xLP, a three-disc mega-set encompassing the entire Overture auditory journey. It comes pressed on Black, Gold, and Red vinyl, each with its own unique center label mirroring the collectible records found throughout the game world: Nightmare & Survivor for the Black vinyl, Lisrim and The Clear Blue Sky for the Gold, and Survivor (Red) and the Stargazer for the Red. It’s our nod to the importance of music to the entire Lies of P experience.

For the album art, Dan Zollinger crafted a piece to perfectly complement his art for the original Lies of P 3xLP. The result is a stunning, painterly package that calls to mind the same late-19th-century inspirations that make the game itself such a masterpiece.
