《探險活寶：遙遠的邦辰》帶領觀眾前往哇塞秘境（Ooo）的遙遠角落，講述由新老角色共同主演的富有想像力的故事。
在第二集《黑曜石》中，故事以先前從未探索過的皇家領地——玻璃王國為背景，透過一系列回億場景，深刻探討了吸血鬼女王艾薇爾與泡泡糖公主之間充滿波瀾的關係。
《黑曜石》既私人又具神話色彩，將《探險活寶》的奇幻設定與對兩位最受歡迎角色的深刻情感探索巧妙地融合在一起。
