《探险活宝：遥远的邦辰》带领观众前往呜呜岛（Ooo）的遥远角落，讲述由新老角色共同主演的富有想象力的故事。
在第二集《黑曜石》中，故事以此前从未探索过的皇家领地——玻璃王国为背景，通过一系列回忆场景，深刻探讨了吸血鬼女王玛瑟琳与泡泡糖公主之间充满波澜的关系。
《黑曜石》既私人又具神话色彩，将《探险活宝》的奇幻设定与对两位最受欢迎角色的深刻情感探索巧妙地融合在一起。
